1. How about some free sales letter help?

Whenever you study the really famous Internet marketers
(you DO study them don't you?) to figure out how they
got to the point they are currently at, you usually see
things like:
Large subscripton lists
Huge amounts of traffic
Large numbers of affiliates
No doubt these are needed, but the one thing that most
people seem to overlook is the fact that most of them
have an uncanny ability to write great sales letters.
Sales letters that reach out and grab surfers, and pull
them into the letter, and then work all the right magic
to make them reach for their wallets and pull out their
credit cards.
If you have this ability, you can make serious amounts
of money even with low traffic.
Personally, I know I don't have this ability yet. I'm
working on it, but I'm not there yet.
How do I know?
Because even though my products sell really well, and
I get tons of awesome feedback on them from customers,
I don't convert as much as I should be able to.
Granted, my expectations may be a bit high, but I truly
feel that I could be doing much better with professional
sales letters on each of my sites.
To reach my goals, I read everything I can get my hands
on related to this subject.
I buy and read books, ebooks, subscribe to newsletters,
you name it. And then I test, test, and test.
Well, this week I found out that my good friend Joe Robson

To help illustrate the power of increasing the conversion

made a change to the headline of the sales page for
one of his sites.
This sales letter was converting 1% of the visitors
to paying customers with the old headline. With the
new one in place, it increased to 1.7%.
This may not sound like much, but according to Terry,
it will be about an extra $3,000 per month!
That is a lot of money for such a simple change. And
this is only the headline!
As you can see, knowing how to write great sales letters
can add a quite a bit of money to your monthly income.

3. Google gets another boost in priority
=========================================
Over the past few days I've been hammered by advertising
for a search engine claiming they are going to push
Yahoo! out of the way.
Doubt that, but I decided to check them out and see what
they had to offer.
The website is http://www.myway.com .
Basically they look like a Yahoo-clone, but the thing
that caught my eye right off the bat was the Powered
by Google logo in the upper-right corner.
The reason I thought this was interesting is that in
my opinion this is one more reason to be ranked well
in Google.
Companies like this typically have deep pockets, and
will spend a ton on advertising (exactly how I heard
of them) trying to get people to their site.
One of the things those people will do is search for
stuff.
If your site is ranked well in Google, then you might
be able to get some additional traffic from this site
now too.
Who knows, maybe they won't go anywhere, but then
again maybe they'll take off and get millions of
visitors per day like the other engines.
The fact is, it's one more reason that you should
add Google to your list of sites to rank well in.
